Anyone do anything cool as a gift?

I did a slideshow movie for my Mom from our oldest albums and put it on a
DVD, and then for laughs in the space left over at the end, I strung
together a few short clips of 'christmas past' of our daughter opening
presents at ages 2, 3, 4.

These things always go over well with the family.

Having just purchased a DVD burner a lot of my friends got DVDs this
Christmas!

Isn't it amazing what getting the slideshow/movie that last few feet from
the computer to the couch&TV does for wanting to make more and more of them
:-)

Hopefully with more people buying blank media, the prices will drop quite a
bit further.
