Would prefer to have something small and portable that fits on a
portable USB drive but this is not necessary.

Anything to trouble modem problems.

The link to ITSDiag ITSDiag (Internet Tech Support Diagnostics) on
this page is a dead link but I did manage to find it on some obscure
ftp site.
