i ask as again, there is a screw up with them. i was on a few earlier & saw
a few emails in my hotmail inbox, but was not up to responding, so i just
went back & get this each time i try & open my account:"
You don't have an inbox...yet

Sign up for Windows Live Hotmail and get a free, customizable inbox with
lots of storage and great security.

Note: Whether you use Hotmail or not, you can always go to your contact
list. "

what ? there was no notice, no warning, nothing that would advise their
users of them screwing things up & now, i can't even get into the mail box
there !

seems ms is always screwing things up, to try & keep up w/ the others, but
they let routine things slide.

I have several Hotmail accounts, including the main account that my wife and
I use daily.

Last night -- around 2100 hours, EDST, 9 April and up until I turned off the
computer at 0100 EDST 10 April -- Hotmail was down.

When you tried to login you would receive a message that you need to sign up
for a Windows Live account. They fixed it sometime in the early morning
hours of 10 April, EDST.

I have found Hotmail to be reliable -- but -- as this incident proved, there
is no way to get help when it screws up -- no way to contact Hotmail tech
support, if there is such a thing.

Hello,

It was having issues a few hours ago but it should be fine now. Even those
using Windows Live Messenger could not log on then.

great, thanks very much. and now this morning, when i try, i click on one of
my id's - one for family & one for dealing w/ customer service of everything
from utilities, to amazon to eBay, etc. - anyway, when i click on either id,
the page goes blank & at the lower left of the window in the tray, the text
is flickering off & on very fast. it then closes down my ie as it says "....
is not responding"!

thanks again as i'll keep trying

Couldn't login last night, could this morning. I live in Phoenix. Just
speculating but it could have something to do with the fiberoptic
cable sabotage in California last night.
