This AM, on the SysInternals website, I downloaded a bunch- slowly, but
on this one I got "page not found".
--------
FAT32 for Windows NT 4.0
1998
Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell
Last Updated: January 10, 2002
v1.06

FAT32 is a FAT32 file system driver for Windows NT 4.0. Once installed,
any FAT32 drives present on your system will be fully accessible as
native Windows NT volumes.

Recommended FAT32 Configuration
Do not convert your first partition, or your NT boot partition (the one
with \winnt on it), to FAT32 as there is no support in Windows NT 4.0 for
reading FAT32 drives during the boot sequence.

For maximum compatibility in dual boot systems, the recommended partition
configuration is to maintain a FAT partition as the first partition on
the primary drive. This partition should contain Windows 95/98 as well as
Windows NT and should not be used to store applications or data files.
The rest of the primary disk and any other disks should be formatted with
FAT32.
snip
------

Does anyone have this one and can post it to a website so I can d/l it?

TIA

Mike Sa

Ah, does work, but now it's just a list of files and their URLs on the
sysinternals server.

Anyone got the massive zip file available anywhere, or could post it to a
binaries group?

just cutnpaste the text into a news editor and click on the links
or drop them into a file grabber
you probably don't need the source files, but most of them contain
a copy of the app file anyway
accvio and bluescreen you probably don't need either

anyway , the web site is far snappier today so you don't need it

the licensing strongly suggests you not distribute archives
given they have provided quality useful free software and
may continue to to do so it would seem polite to at least
make a notional attempt to respect their wishes

contents of grc site file:

What happened to all the files?

During the 24-hours that the SysInternals site was struggling under the
rush of people wanting to grab all of its goodies before they (possibly)
disappeared forever following Microsoft's acquisition of Mark and Bryce,
this file briefly contained all of the files listed below. But the guys
now have their site hosted on a much faster connection and hardware, so
there's no longer any need for file mirroring. If you want to grab every
file from their "files" directory, the links below will help you ...

>-------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: If you are using Internet Explorer to download many files at once,
you'll likely be frustrated by the very annoying default "two connection"
limit per remote site. You can easily eliminate that in order to enable
as many simultaneous downloads as you can click on. Go to this registry
key ...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Internet Settings

Then change or add the following two entries, setting their DWORD
values to something large (mine are both set to 1000):

MaxConnectionsPerServer REG_DWORD (Default is 2)
Sets the number of simultaneous requests to a single HTTP 1.1 Server

MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server REG_DWORD (Default is 4)
Sets the number of simultaneous requests to a single HTTP 1.0 Server

Not any longer. However, a very helpful text file is in that .zip.

I'll post it.
