Just wondering if there was anyone out there (Intel/AMD employees?) who had
caught sight of a 3.3Ghz Processor release date?

I'm on the verge of buying my new PC, but the Intel 3.2Ghz P4 has been out
for a while now, so I'm wondering if we're getting close to some new
technology releases. I'm guessing September/October?

Greatful for any links or release dates!

Thanks

Lawrence Stromski.

No no no no, not AMD for me
I'm sure it's very good for the gaming world, and other worlds, but I have
to have Intel for a very spacific purpose. I've seen several performance
issues with CAD Rendering packages on AMD processors. Intel just always seem
to be built better for that corner. I suppose I could always have dual 3Ghz
Xeon processors.

What have you been smoking? The 3.0 P4 beats it and is $50 cheaper..

I saw on a lot of tests that my CPU (P4 2.8 800FSB) beats the AMD 3200+ in
things like apps and gaming, which is what I use my PC for anyway.
