I've got an iogear GCS942UW6 on both an XP and a Win 7 Pro64 computer... It
works like a dream on the Win7 computer but the XP system will freeze up or
the mouse button will sort of stay clicked (when I move the mouse around it
will highlight everything like I'm holding the mouse down). Does this sound
like problems with the KVM? And if so is there a cure?

__________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4697 (20091217) __________

The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

I have some IOGear ps/2 KVMs but I've never had any trouble with them.

GCS942UW6 looks to be a hybrid model, so that it can do either/or ps/2
or USB.

For troubleshooting purposes, switch the two computer ends around and
see if the trouble follows the KVM leads.

Are you using USB or ps2 or both?

Configuration recommendations:

You should configure your OE so that you have a 'handle'/nym which is
something other than eternal-september.org.

You should configure your eset nod32 so that either it doesn't scan
outgoing news messages or that it doesn't stamp the confirmation on your
messages.
