I am looking for a good RPG that will work with Windows XP. I do not like
the trading punches type games, you know the ones where one person attacks
and then sits back and waits to get attacked. I like the fantasy type games
such as Dungeon Siege 2, games where you have quests. Does anybody have any
suggestions? I don't care if it is a free download or I have to purchase the
download as long as it fits the type of games I like to play.

Thank you,
Michelle

Hi Michelle,
Have you ever tried the Myst games? There are 5 of them....starting
with Myst, Riven:Sequel to Myst, Myst 3: Exile, Myst IV Revelation, Myst V:
End of Ages
Myself totally would get immersed in these games and as did my
relations as I would pass them on. Here is a shortcut to get you started on a
long journey,To me the Myst volumes are well worth the money. hope this is
what you might be looking for.

Gothic III comes to mind. I haven't tried it myself or on XP, only II.
Should be along what you are looking for. Have a look for specs at
gamespot.com .

Hi Michelle,

Since you enjoyed Dungeon Siege, you should enjoy Fable.
Take a look at it here: www.microsoft.com/games/fable/
