Any way to limit how often Outlooks sends? EMail Merge...

Howdy,

Every other month we send out a newsletter via email to our clients. We use
Publisher to create the newsletter and then do an email merge to send it out.
Problem is my ISP sometimes freaks out when it sends 800 emails all in a row.

Is there any way to set Outlook to only send out a message every 5 seconds
or anything like that so things don't get overloaded and rejected?

Thanks.

Yep, you hit their anti-spam quota because you are trying to use a
*personal* e-mail account for business purposes. A business account
would have higher quotas.

Stop trying to use Word with Outlook as a bulk mail program. Outlook is
a personal (or corporate) e-mail client and not designed to be a bulk
mailer. Get a bulk mail program that can regulate how many recipients
are included in a message, how many messages it sends per minute, how
long to wait between each batch of messages, etc.

Please try our email scheduler (http://www.repeatmail.com) which will allow
you to send multiple individual emails, html or plain text, with
attachments, either as a one-off or regularly at a specified time and
interval. The recipients list can be drawn from your Outlook Contacts, a
plain text file, database or spreadsheet. It also allows you to specify the
interval between each send so as to avoid triggering any spam limits on your
account. Outlook is not needed to send. Your machine needs to be switched
on, but you don't even have to be logged in. Works with Win
98/XP/2003/Vista
