Any warnings before I install 832483 / MS04-003 (MDAC fix)?

Figured I'd ask y'all first if it's safe to install.

I certainly don't want to have double result sets from my
SELECT statements, or DELETEs failing because they were
issued twice as a side effect of the patch, for example...

I am, of course, referring to the much maligned
KB824145 "critical update" that will introduced the double
scrolling / scroll bar / selected text issues. I've been
waiting months for a fix on that one, to no avail!

So, anyone out there got any newly weird behaviors since
installing the fix? Pipe up!

Bill

I installed the hotfix last night and now am unable to use my strobe
pro scanner. Haven't figured this one out yet but thought I'd let you
know
