Hello all

Is there any reason I couldn't run two USB printers (a HP 940c and Epson
Stylus R300) under XP Pro?

To explain further I want to use the HP printer for everyday printing and
the Epson mainly for printing onto CD's (if that makes sense).

TIA

BillL

I usually do an exhaustive search for info on the Web before posting here on
any technical problem i might have because it helps me to learn HOW to
search, (terms, structure of search etc) but having the vast amount of
information that is available out there is only one function of the PC.

Should work; I use four on my XP PC. But try it -- XP, like life, is
full of surprises, and some combinations may not works expected.

No. I have two USB connected printers on my XP system and they work fine.
Just make your HP the default printer.

No reason at all. They will be plugged in to different end USB ports
and appear as two printers on offer when you print things. You would
want in Printers and Faxes to right click on the HP one and set it as
the default
