Due to the limitation of Office 2000, if I upgrade to Office 2007, does it
have any
problem of migration?
Thank in advance for any suggestions
Eric

I have been using 2007 for a few months now and have had no problems reading
or writing to earlier file formats. The biggest change is the user
interface and that has taken too much time to get used to. Thank god most of
the shortcut keys are unaffected

The other big change is in the huge increase in number of rows and columns,
but to take advantage of that you must use the new xlsx and/or xlsm file
formats. Thus, those files can't be fully shared with people who are not
using 2007

You should read these forums, and decide if the issues people are reporting
(mostly due to unfamiliarity but sometimes due to product differences) are
problematic. You should also download the trial version and give it a
serious test using all of your mission critical work. Some people have just
jumped in the deep end and are upset that stuff isn't the same, but if you
do your due diligence you should be okay.

I've used Excel 2007 extensively, including the beta and a bit of follow-up,
but I personally have found no compelling reason to upgrade to it for
everyday use from Excel 2003.
