Problem started about a month ago. IE7 would intermittently not connect
to internet but yet, client could connect to any other computer on the
network 100% of the time.

Have since installed IE8 (no help), latest Nvidia network driver (no
help).

Wired side works fine and connects up 100%.

Have tried lot's of things - to many to explain here but if someone has
been down this road, I sure would like to hear from you for some ideas.

No virus etc. - (NAV 2009 and just upgraded to NAV 2010)

All MS updates to Dec 14th

No other problems noted except that WHS Restore CD won't pickup and
load the Nvidia network drivers. Have tried the Aug 08 release and Nov
09 release of WHS Restore CD - Dual Boot.

Thank you,

Bob S.

Have you tried using the 'Diagnose Connection Problems' wizard in the
Tools tab of IE? I had a problem where Firefox would connect without
problem but IE would only connect about 10% of the time. Updates and
different versions of IE had the same results. Running the wizard found
a problem with the stack (?) that it was able to fix and eliminated the
problems.

Sure. there are lots of pigs around here who can help you on anything
including finding you an escort for Xmas. Peter Foldes' wife, sister
and mother are working as professional escorts and they can help you
with your sexual problems. MVPs don't normally have anything else to do
these days because they have all lost their jobs so they hang out here
and help people like you.

Please don't take a no for an answer.

Hope this helps.

Yes and it didn't find anything wrong. I may have fixed the problem by
uninstalling IE8 and dropping back to IE7 *and* reinstalling the driver
for the network. Still haven't found the answer to WHS not being able
to install the Nvidia network drivers though.

Thanks,

Bob S.
