i'm running sp2 2120(beta) at the moment with no problems
as far as i cn see on the service it's mostly security related with a proper
firewall ( in windows "security centre"), new windows update and some ie
(fixes ?) active x blocker and pop up blocker it also seems to have
increased the performance of xp
