I have an HP 1020 printer. I have found out the 10xx printers are host
based and do not understand PCL. I cannot get the SaMBa smbclient to
print to these shared printers. Any ideas on how to overcome this?
Just buy better/different printers? Thanks for help.

you could print your reports to a file on a samba share, then Printfil on a
Windows machine could automatically pick them up and print them on your
Windows printer(s)
