Any gotchas to installing server toolkit on desktop standalone?

I"m running Windows XP sp 3 on a stand-alone desktop.

I want to move files from one computer to another via a thumbdrive without
losing the files' original Create Dates. It looks like the best way to do
this is with Robocopy.exe which comes in the Windows Server 2003 Resources
Kit Tools package.

The information sheet for that download says it works with Windows XP, but I
don't know if there's any problem with running server software on a
stand-alone system, I've never done it before. Before I install this, I'd
like to see if there are any caveats I need to be aware of.

Also, one of the machines I sometimes work on, off-site, is a Windows 2000
machine. Does anyone know if there is a way to copy files to and from that
machine to the thumbdrive without loosing the original Create Date stamp?
The Robocopy.exe documentation doesn't list Windows2000 as a supported
system.

TIA

The Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools will install and work on
Windows XP without any problems. Te Server 2003 Kit will not install on
Windows 2000 but you can copy the Robocopy utility only to your Windows
2000 machine and it will work.
