I recently added the Microsoft Keyboard Elite for Bluetooth and Intellimouse
Explorer for Bluetooth to my setup. Everything worked fine until my power
supply failed. That was replaced and ever since my PC takes several
minutes to boot unless I remove the Microsoft Bluetooth dongle. So the
dongle, although it works, obviously has sustained some sort of damage.
(I've had the PC checked out...no problems).
I can't replace it under warranty as I bought this on Ebay.
I've been searching high and low for a "Microsoft Wireless Transceiver for
Bluetooth 2.0" without much success. I find loads of other brands....does
it matter what brand? I see the other brands come with their own software
CD, would that mean I wouldn't be able to use Intellimouse and Intellitype
software...or simply that those dongles don't use XP SP2's built in drivers?
Sorry, I'm new at Bluetooth.
