I have a friend with a system who is getting a Stop: 0x0000007B error
in Win XP home and can go no further. A reapir done after the Win XP
license screen did not help either. Same error.
Not sure what to do next.
She had McAfee on her machine but of course at this point cannot get
to it even in Safe Mode.
Not sure what caused this Stop Error but I have also seen errors where
you can not get an error resolved after you try a repair of WIn XP
home.
Perhaps some program to run AV checking from CD? Can Norton
Systemworks 2003 create a set of scan CD's or disks to run when system
tries to boot?
All ideas appreciated.
