      16th Nov 2004
Hello...my norton 2003 was expired so i downloaded another avp without
installing norton...now my puter is very slow...should I go and unistall
norton? Also i downloaded the other avp into my documents and
settings...should I of downloaded it directly into 'my computer'?

How do I unzip a zipped file? I am obviously a newbie so need all the help I
can get.

Hi Wendy

It is not a good idea to have two AV programs running at the same time on a
computer so yes I would suggest uninstalling the old Norton AV.
You might also want to check if you have picked up any adware or spyware as
these will often slow a computer up. Try the information at the following
site for help with doing this:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

If you wish to work with zip files I would recommend using a program like
WinZip which makes the whole process very easy.
