Any body using AntiVir Guard Personal Edition Ver 6?
The internet update seems to take sometime to complete its job, around
20 minutes. Is this normal? I have a dial-up modem 28 connection.

Comments, advice, suggestions welcome.

the Maids Muffin, (much to her great delight), this jewell arived from
"Yddap" <(E-Mail Removed)> not wishing to put Caruthers of his

The original spelling was and is correct.
Do you have anything to contribute regarding the problems raised?

You should never feed trolls after the sun goes down.

I thought it was after midnight, oh wait, that's Mogwai's isn't it...

My suggestion to the OP, for what it's worth, is to get a faster modem! 56k
will speed things up a bit, 256k broadband will make it even better!!!

Seriously, at 28k 20mins is probably fair if the file is a moderate
size..... I used to have some AVG updates on 56k that would take 10mins to
download (big updates!!), so on 28k would've taken longer....

Yes. The updates are quite large (up to 4-5 MB)
and with your (slow) connection this seems ok.
