Hi

I am facing a problem in updating Microsoft AntiSpyware
from long time, and I don't know why. I have reinstall it
serveral times, but it is showing a warning:-

"Warning, could not connect to the Internet!"

if i have a problem in my connection ( like it is saying
in the warning) than how come I can browse Microsoft page.

Today, I download again AntiSpyware, which is
Microsoft AntiSpyware Version: 1.0.614
This version expires on: 12/31/2005
Spyware Definition Version: 5725 (7/1/2005 12:51:44 AM)

but still is showing same warning.

I can update Windows and my AntiVirus, but i can't update
Microsoft AntiSpyware

I hope someone help me in this

Check if Internet Explorer is not set to work off-line (in the File menu).

Use very helpful plun's procedure:

"Right click on MSAS icon within systray and choose shutdown.

Right click and "Save target as..."

http://download.spynet.com/ASDefinit...ThreatData.gcd

Copy/paste these files to Program files/Microsoft Antispyware

Restart MSAS and "check for updates"

Done until MS realize that this is a bug.............."
