I just upgraded my PC to latest version of MS
AntiSpyware. From that point
on, occasionally it failed to appear at startup.

I uninstalled /reinstalled it and it is now OK
XP Home SP1 - up to date

I have the same problem...sometimes it loads (at startup) and sometimes it doesn't...

Easy to fix:

Unistalled and reinstalled.

If the problem persist, try installing in a non-default location such as
c:\msas. If it still continues, it is particular software program thats
conflicting with it.
