Hi,

Maybe I am expecting too much but am trying to find an effective antispyware
tool for windows 98 SE. I realise ones options for antivirus(Avg antivirus is
compatible/antispyware isn't) antispyware are diminishing by the day but
thought somebody may have advice for an antisyware tool.

Spybot Search & Destroy runs on Windows 98, even Windows 95 with the right
Winsock. Lavasoft Ad-Aware runs on Windows 98. Xoftspy runs on Windows 98.
Spyware Doctor runs on Windows 98.

The only w98 antispyware program thats free and has a realtime scanner
that I have found is cyberdefenderfree. But it is adware.
