Do you have a Packard Bell PC by any chance? Just wondering as my Packard
Bell hated the anti spyware program and threw all kinds of tantrums in the
end I uninstalled it and reformatted my hard drive and since then it's happy
as anything and now run Spybot Search and Destroy and that seems to be fine
with it.
