AntiSpyware and Keyboard Shortcuts

anyone else notice that having AntiSpyware running in the
background (i.e., system tray) causes user-assigned
keyboard shortcuts to become delayed? for example, if i
press Ctrl+Alt+N to launch internet explorer, it takes
something like 5 seconds for the internet window to
actually appear. i wonder whether MS is aware of this...
