Anti-virus (malware) Programs

I use McAfee anti-viral (malware) programs. I get this for free through my
ISP Comcast. Do I need Windows Defender also?

Ken,

There are various versions of McAfee.
If yours is strictly Antivirus, then yes, you can and should also be running
an anti-Adware/Spyware like Windows Defender.
If it is a "suite" of some kind that has real time protection against
Adware/Spyware then you should not, as to avoid conflicts.
