Anti Virus by Kaspersky

I have used the AOL Anti Virus program by Kaspersky, for a bout a year or
two. Now, I find that AOL has dropped it and is using McAfee.

I can't delete the AOL program using Add/Delete in the control panel nor can
I delete it from my Program files.

Any help?

Did you stop the program from running before trying Add/remove
Programs? The uninstaller asks you to do so. Just right-click the item
in Systray and click Exit. Then continue the uninstall.

Hahaha. I just got an e-mail from my neighbour with the very same
question, so don't feel bad. )

And if the beast still refuses to uninstall, perhaps the removal
utility for KAV/KIS 6 will do it...

No worries.

You also may wish to use NTREGOPT to compact the registry then do a reboot
immediately.
