Hi,

Another question,( related to the last one). If I get the Geforce 6200 card
(compatible with Aereo) my fear is: will using Aereo all the time can damage
the Card? What I mean is, Aero is like playing a 3D game all the time,
right? so it makes the card to work harder than if you where using a normal
Windows Vista Theme. And finally what is the normal lifespan of a Video
Card? 1 year, 2 or more?

Best Regards and Sorry for all this questions

Michel

A critical point is the fan on more powerful video cards - but my
GeForce 6200 128 MB has no fan:-)

Since you did not quote the last question you posted, we have no way of
knowing what that question was?

About your current question. No, Aero is not like playing a game and it will
not damage your video card. As far as the life span of a particular video
card, I still have a system running which was purchased back in 1997, that I
now use for older games and storage which has a Matrox Millennium video card
that is showing no signs of age.
