I just bought a hard drive enclosure kit so I could put
an old hard in it drive and transfer my documents from
the old hard drive into my new WinXP machine. I put my
hard drive in the enclosure kit and plugged the enclosure
kit into my new computer using a USB cable. WindowsXP
detected the new drive without any problem, but had an
error message stating " code 10: mass storage device
could not start." I've looked through Microsoft's
knowledge base and haven't found anything yet....any
ideas to solve the error message?
