Whenever I try to go to any of Microsoft's sites. except Windows Update, the
browser comes back with server not available. Is there a setting that
needs changed in the options or some other hidden place where I can make
this thing go to Microsoft.com whenever I want?

Are you accepting cookies?
Much of the Microsoft site requires that.

I changed HOSTS to OLDHOSTS and I got though, thanks all for your help.
