Just saw this one at Nonags:

Looks a lot easier to install than Ethereal. Don't know how good it is
though.

It says ;

"Capture IP packets on your LAN with nearly no packets losing."

Wonder if it works on the internet ?

John,
I haven't used it yet. I know you are really good with these
packet sniffers and I was hoping you'd reply. Turns out that the
install puts WinPCap on first just like Ethereal. Just makes it a
little more convenient to do so. Still, I haven't used the program yet.

They do say on the site:

"EtherSnoop light is a free network sniffer, designed for capturing
and analysis of the packets going through the network.It captures the
data passing through your dial-up connection or network Ethernet card..."

I assumed that meant TCP/IP packets as well. Was hoping you'd know.

Yep, it works fine on the internet.. Just tried it today...
