This is an interesting error. It, however, very likely does not have
anything to do with DNS or MX. You need to have the Exchange NewsGroup
people help you with this.
Since you mentioned master/member, I take it that both servers are in the
same RG. Look at the connectors you have defined in that RG and see if you
are limiting access to only the E3K server. Without more info regarding your
config, it's hard to make an informed recommendation.
