Hello all Mingtheuseless here,
My first post and my username may give a clue to my PC knowledge...

I'm trying to fix a bluetooth problem with my Acer laptop (Travelmete 800LCi).

The message is "BTTray unable to start the Blutooth stack"

I looked on google and saw a registry cleaner down load advertsing a fix for this. Mr Gullible here paid for this and, yes you've got it, no difference. Apart from another problem on startup "searching for fax.msi" or words to that effect, anyway, I now restored to an earlier date. Oh, and USD50 out of pocket

Can anyone please help with my bluetooth problem?

As a matter of interest, I have seen others with the "fax.msi" problem, how is this resolved?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Murdock,

Thanks for your quick response...
I followed the link and the MS instructions but no difference. After I select update hardware, I get message "cannot find a better match" etc etc. I also have the message the the "device is operating correctly" - but it isn't. Very frustrating.
