Don't you get fed up answering EWF questions

I have used your RAM EWF component (and followed the instructions). My device uses only a 256Mb Sandisk CF card which I have fdisk'd as FAT16 from Win98, formatted and bootprep'd. From when I was playing before, I have only created a 220Mb partition, leaving the rest unpartitioned

Once built and booted, when I run 'ewfmgr c:' I get the response
"Failed getting protected volume configuration with error 1.

Any ideas?

Hi CP,

Good question

If you are using my RAM EWF solution then you can use both fixed and
removable disks, and also you can use whole CF for data so you can use 256
for XPe or create two partitions. Second will be unprotected by EWF and you
can use it for some persistent data.

RAM EWF if properly configured trough registry will always work.
So check your ARC path, and reread doc files I wrote.

Slobodan

Doh! I have just noticed that the EWF RAM Registry component is disabled because of a 'Service pack level mismatch'. I had the same problem when trying to add in a new display adapter. What is the cause of this?
