Symantec subscription glitch derails users

Your subject line is sort of an oxymoron.

Isn't a screw-up that almost leaves someone vulnerable the same thing as a
success because it didn't leave users vulnerable?

Yes. But this is Mark'n'Roy kent - big words and blah blah to try and
