If i use an Anonymous remote proxy through a proxy software will the isp
able to locate which sites i am surfing?

The answer may depend on which anonymous network(s) your potential remote
proxy uses. Since you did not mention any of them, including the ones you
are considering using, it is difficult to reply. Are you only worried about
your ISP and not about third-parties monitoring your browsing and
downloading ? This question may be OT for this newsgroup; there are more
specialized online forums elsewhere. In general, no anonymous network is
perfect. Many are admittedly experimental only at this stage.

Your ISP?

They could interact with General Telecommunication Organization, Oman, and
find out.

Easier would be to install a packet inspector on your connection.

To answer your question, yes.

I agree with "HeyBub". In the future, you might try posting to
"microsoft.public.windowsxp.security_admin" instead of this NG. Anonymity is
difficult to achieve and always comes at a high performance price. The
packet sniffer comes in handy for analyzing anonymity of connections.
