I was browsing and i was redirected to some page...then this "user input
script" thing came up, and it was filled with stars...Now when im browsing,
in the title bar all it says is the first letter of the title (if this page
was "help" it would only say "h").. can someone tell me how to fix this cos
its annoying me, and how it happens cos im well...interested lol...

The Google Desktop Search installation may be damaged. Uninstall. Reboot.
Reinstall.
