I'm not aware of changing any settings but when I do anything in Outlook 2007
I get a sound associated with it. E.g when I delete a contact or switch from
my Inbox to my Sent box this noise happens. How can I turn them off?

That is not a native function of Outlook 2007 or any version of Outlook for
that matters. Sounds like you have additional software installed that causes
this. In Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs you can see what applications
you have installed.

In addition to what Roady told you, check your control panel > sounds to see
if you or someone else has enabled any sound theme.

I found software called Customizable Alerts and Microsoft Office Sounds in
the Control Panel. Would oneof these be the culprit?
