Hi again Velma :-)

It would have been a little easier to follow the discusion if you had
replied to the original thread, but...

I'm not sure that I understand where the customizing is, but try this:

Copy and paste these lines into Start> Run. Try the first line. If that
doesn't help, try the second. Capitalization and spacing of these commands
is critical. Please copy and paste rather than typing.

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

Rundll32 Iedkcs32.dll, BrandCleanInstallStubs

Click OK.
Restart Internet Explorer

There may be a program running at each startup to apply this customization.
Run MSCONFIG and look at the Startup tab to see if such an entry is there
and can be unchecked.

If Don's suggestions don't work, then you'll need to edit the registry to
get rid of it.
Start...Run...Regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar
Delete the "BackBitmap" key.

Only edit the registry if you are comfortable doing so and know how to
back-up and restore your registry in case of problems developing afterwards.

Or you can use this little freeware program that could help you remove it
and any other left-over branding:
