To Anyone,
I am running Outlook 2000 (IMO) on a WINXP Pro SP2 machine. My problem
concerns the slowness when switching from one folder (Inbox for instance) to
another folder (user created). there is a delay when I switch from one
folder to another. There is slowness or a delay when I switch from one
downloaded message to another within the same folder or a different folder.
This has just happened within the last two weeks or so.
So far I have run SCANPST.EXE from my admin account on the inbox 3 times. I
have deleted unnecessary messages from all folders including SENT ITEMS. I
have compacted all folders more times than I can remember. I ran "DETECT
and REPAIR" from the admin account. I have renamed the "outlook.pst" and
had outlook make a new one. Still, I have the slowness described above.
Any help or fresh ideas from anyone would be much appreciated. Thank you in
