Hi,

I have a Dell Desktop (which has internet) and a Dell Laptop
I have installed a home network which only works half:
the internet works on the laptop and the desktop but i have problems with
the workgroup
On the desktop, i can not see the laptop, and when i click "view workgroup
computers", it says "'Mshome' is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this
server to find out if you have access permissions. The list of servers for
this workgroup is not currently available."
On the laptop, i can see the desktop, but when i click the icon, i get the
same message.

What must I do?

THx

Joris-
Do you have a fire wall on either system. As my son just recieved a new pc
for xmas and we are unable to remote/connect to this system prior to turning
off the fire wall. I do beleive we get the same message.
