when i start up and go to the main desktop screen i
always get this annoying dialogue box appear trying to
find a file monitor.exe i can't delete this i done a
search to find this so called file but can't find it
anywhere on the hard drive how can i delete this

Try this:

Click Start-Run-Type regedit and click OK. Now click the + next to each
name until you get to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Winodws\CurrentVersion\Run

Look for Monitor.exe and if you find it, right click on it and delete
it. You can also look in the same location under HKEY_CURRENT_USER
