Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to make this
post but couldnt see anywhere else to put it.

Whenever I try to run Doom 3 i get the followinf error
message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Program: C:\Program Files\Doom3\doom3.exe
abnormal program termination

This is followed by several messages stating something
about a referenced instruction occuring in an error in my
memory or something.

Could someone please help me!

P.S. My pc configuration is as follows:

Windows XP (sp1), AMD Athalon 2800+, 512MB RAM, 128MB
GeForce graphics, direct x 9.0c

Hi!

I have exactly the same problem:


game crashes with:

MC Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error

path..games\Doom 3\Doom3.exe

abnormal program termination

My system:

AMD Athlon 1 GHz
512 MB RAM
GF FX 5700

Sometimes I can start the game and play for a few minutes, but then it
crashes again.. Same in Multiplayer Mode.
I already updated the important drivers and so on.
No idea, what to do, but it really sucks.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase help!!!!!

I have the same problem......
I thing the problem is around AMD Athalon 2800+ maybe...

I have try about celeron processor there is no problem

and the graphics card is the same CREATIVE GeForce 5900 FX

let me know if we fix it!
