Hi

Despite having a page set in my "Home Page" preferences in Explorer, Windows
XP, each day I start up my computer and log onto the Internet, instead of
the page I have selected appearing on my screen I get this really annoying
page full of crap links.
When I delete this and reset my Home Page to my prefered page this other
page will still reappear the next day.
I've searched everywhere but cannot get rid of it.
The rest of my computer is running fine.
Please help if you can

Thanks in anticipation

Ian Macdonald, Manchester, UK

From what I gatther from your discription you have been hijacked. You will need to install a good spyware removal program and then a good anti-virus program to prevent future attacks.

There are several good spyware removal programs available for free as are there several free anti-virus programs. Do a search on the internet and pick the one that like most. If you can't find any then I can suggest a few that I know work.

Additionally get a copy of "Hijack This" and run it on your computer, there are also some good tools on that web site as well.
