It gives me great pleasure to announce the following release of Avant
Browser 11. This release is a beta so should be used with care.

Hello, Everybody,

After moderators testing the new version for one month, I think it can be
released as a beta version.

5. Install Skin from Internet. Example: Example:

What's your problem? Avant is updated quite often. Do you want a new
version every week. CrazyBrowser, on the other hand, is updated
rarely, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

I have no problem, but your post is aggressive while it is not needed in
this case.
I know it is updated often. I have been watching avantbrowser's development
very closely.
In fact I always beta test and provide input to the developer.
I did not say that it is not updated.. I said I was wondering what course it
would take
development-wise now that IE and Maxthon are being updated.

please read my OP in that context.

Yes and no. However, it uses IE's rendering engine.

Avant, Firefox, and Opera all have similar features, such as opening
multiple pages on tabs. It's all about the details. Each browser handles
tabs, toolbars, favorites/bookmarks, skins, etc. a little differently. By
the way, Avant requires IE since it uses the IE rendering engine, but its'
UI is far better than IE6 (and IE7 as well) IMHO. Some people may refer to
Avant as a shell and not a "real" browser, but this is symantecs. User what
works best for you.

That should have been "semantics". Guess I've been corrupted by the norton
products <g>.
