I am using Power point 2000. I am trying to divide an
organizational chart in one slid and make it animated.

Example :

Manager Box will stay still in the slid but Assistant box
will appear as animated, subordinate box will be animated
to link the Manager box.

Can it be done in one slid ?

Sam,

You can do this on one slide with PPT 2000, but the MS Organization
Chart tool does not support animations. Instead, you'll need to
perform the following:

Create your org chart. Ungroup it. PPT will ask you if you want to
ungroup the imported object into a Microsoft Office drawing. Click
Yes.

Carefully regroup selected text objects, lines and boxes into, for
example, three groups (manager, assistant, subordinate). Finally,
assign an animation to each group.

use MS office drowing, i was able to work on PP main
window.
