Animation Deactivated for a file?

I'm modifying slides down by someone else.

I would like to add some animation to these slides.

I added all the Entrances, etc. that I wanted. They all numbered up and
looked right in the Normal View, and when I click on "Play" in the Custom
Animation box, all looks right as well.

BUT when I go into Presentation Mode, the whole slide appears at once - no
animation at all!

(I copied and pasted the whole kit and kaboodle to a new file, and the
animation works fine in Presentation Mode there.)

Is there a setting I can't find somewhere that's disabled the animation
settings for the whole file?

Thanks

Hi

There is a 'show without animation' tick box in Slide Show-> Set up show.
That's the first place I would look.

Just the trick - much easier than removing animations from 20 some slides!

It's on the Slide Show tab. There's a Set Up Slide Show button there.
