While new Outlook 2007 doesn't support .gifs period. Older versions do
support .gifs, but only if the email is composed in HTML. For Outlook 2007
you can use a handy macro written by Outlook MVP Robert Sparnaaij to view an
HTML email in the browser of your choice (Firefox, IE, etc...). You can see
how to use the macro at Robert's website:
