I need to animate a line, letter by letter, going from right to left, with
each letter activating from a mouse-click (not time delay). How might i do
that?

Try...
Setting up the words/sentences that you want to appear in individual text
boxes so that each letter is individual
Align them so they look like you want them (sentence or word appearance)
Animate them in reverse order--- "On Click"

i was afraid that was going to be the answer. i was hoping M$ would have
programmed a way to break down a line such that each character was its own
object, thus allowing this to happen easily. thanks tho.

if anyone else knows a shortcut/macro/etc, it would be helpful.
