animate.js file created

A file was created, named animate.js. I realize this is a JavaScript but I
don't like it in my root file. I attempted to move it to a folder,
MyScripts. The file moved, then reappeared at the root. Obviously FP wants
it in the root directory. I scanned all source files and noticed that the
path had changed in some areas, but not all. I restored everything back to
normal to ensure that I did not create a problem.

Just wondering how to keep everything organized. Is there a way to move
this file or is it not recommended? Its only one file, no big deal. I just
want to understand what is happening or at least have a plan if this begins
to happen with multiple files.

Thanks

General Principle: If you don't know what it is, or why it is where it is,
don't mess with it. Whoever put it there did know why they put it there.

You chose to use one of the FP DHTML functions, such as page fade in
function, and FP created the file, and it must be in the root of the web.

I understand and that is good advice. Nobody put it there, it was created
by FP.

Yes that is the case. I'm using DHTML for the menus and page transitions
too.
I guess I will leave it be.
Thanks.
