Blimey with a bit of digging around just found a mobile user guide on line!
It has only taken 2 days to find it, but now i have it in pdf form which i can learn from.
You can lock the thread if you wish as i've done with it now.

The first link from the link i posted is the official 2.2.1 user guide. The link Urmas posted is the second link from the same google search, both point to the same .pdf..... Which is about as up to date as your gonna get......

Android is Android tbh. Its not really anything different than any other phone, its all about finding your way around.

Its when you root it that you gotta start learning.

Samsung S2+600mins=Unlimited texts+500MB data per month+1 years insurance = £504! Which = £1,008 in the 2 year contract!
So i may wait a few months to see the price drop a bit as i cant afford that sort of contact!

Buy phone and sim only deal. It's cheaper and you get more for your money.

insurance not with your bank?

May be getting a 2nd user HTC from a friend so am waiting to see what happens.
Also the fact that i could be made redundant in September means i'm holding back.

The guide on Android was good.
And advice i got from the guy at tescos mobile about buying online as you can get cheaper deals etc, so may wait to see if they bring the contact price down for the S2 to a more easier amount for me.

I dont make that many calls, mostly work so dont probably need more than 200mins, but i would like to be able to check emails & catch the news headlines etc.

Will do a bit more research before buying.

Cheers for your advice though V_R.
